Following an extensive study into what separates the hyper-growth software companies from the rest, we created what we have called the ‘Bamboo Report”. We studied over 400 of the fastest-growing companies in the world. Included in the international sample were over 140 Unicorn companies.
BAMBOO STUDY HYPER-GROWTH SOFTWARE COMPANIES
The Bamboo study aimed to help understand the difference between the top 1% of the fastest-growing companies and the rest. After more than three years of research, there was a surprising level of common denominators observed. The simple answer is that there is no simple answer. No one factor will put the odds heavily in your favour. However, there were several valuable observations.
One surprising conclusion for many software engineer companies was that the quality of their software is not the primary deciding factor in the success of their company.
